Horse Boarding in Mocksville, North Carolina (Davie County)

We are a 35 acre horse boarding, training, riding and having fun facility located 2.5 miles from I40 in Davie County. We have 11, 14’x12’ matted stalls, 6 of which have double doors leading out to a dry lot and a pasture beyond.

Our lighted arena is 250’ x 225’ with a full complement of cheerful and welcoming jumps. We also have trails and open fields with poles and cavalettis for pleasure riding. Cedar Creek runs along the eastern boarder of the property.

Horses have individual fans, fresh, clean well water, mats and pine shavings, and unlimited and frequently analyzed orchard grass. There is an indoor wash stall with hot and cold water, and an outdoor wash area with cross ties and unheated water. There is also a farrier/vet/grooming bay with lights, electricity and hot and cold water.
Horses turn out in small groups in large paddocks at night.
Barn manager lives on site.

Hunter Lessons and Training by Tracie Shutt of Tracie Shutt Equestrian (TSE). Open to dressage trainers with prior approval.
Included in full board is blanketing, muzzling, bell boots as needed, administration of meds and owner provided supplements. Stalls are cleaned throughout the day.

Fly control is optimal with Solitude, Fly Predators, and composting manure.
Trailer parking is available.

FULL BOARD: $350 for stall and grain 2-3x a day according to horses needs, hay as needed (Orchard grass or Orchard/Timothy Mix) Blanketing during the winter months with blanket provided by owner. Fly spray daily for spring and summer with spray provided by owner. Will feed any supplements provided by owner. If you wish for your horse to be groomed twice a week, board will be increased to $360. If bathed once a week, board will be $370. If Bathed once a week, groomed twice a week, and lunged up to three times a week for twenty to thirty minute sessions, board will be $400 a month.

Our Farm sits on 20 acres and the barn and pastures are being upgraded. The barn currently has eleven inside stalls, with an additional one being built, as well as five outdoor covered stalls coming soon. Tack room is being remodeled, but has plenty of room for potential boarders to store their tack. Stalls measure 12 x 12 and have matted floors. Stalls mucked daily. Feed plans tailored to each horse's needs. Two One Acre paddocks are available, a one acre dry lot is available for pregnant mares, and we have an arena measuring 200 x 80 with a dirt footing. We have two large 6 acre pastures for turnout as well. Three paddocks with foal safe fencing, measuring a quarter acre each. We have cameras on the property, the entire property is fenced, and the owners live on site. A 60' round pen is available for controlled work in a fenced off courtyard area.

Wash bay available indoors, with a stock concreted in and future hot water capability. Outdoor wash area available as well.

Current Coggins and Shot records must be presented before horse arrives at farm. We must have at least a weeks notice before any potential boarder may be coming. A visit to the farm before arrival is a MUST. We are a DRAMA FREE barn, and no drama will be tolerated.

We have opened three brand new pastures for full care pasture board one pasture is good for 3 horses, other two are the perfect size for two. Very shaded. Just seeded. Very safe and ready for occupancy. Camping with your horses is encouraged here!

Currently, we have three available stalls, comprising one with an expansive run-out and two standard 12x16 stalls. Our equestrian center has a 190x300 arena, sizable pastures, daily turnout, dual tack rooms, wash bay, and obstacle course. As owners reside on-site, security is ensured. Our full-care package includes farrier/vet holds, blanket, and fly mask services at no extra cost. Riding lessons are offered in English and Western disciplines for various age groups, alongside short and long-term horse tuning services.
