True Flight Equine is now Offering Specialized Hunter/Jumper lessons, training, and boarding at our new facility located less than 10 minutes from the Duke University Hospital. Both trainers live on-site and have a B.S in Equine Science specializing in Hunter/Jumper training and instruction. We currently offer lessons and training on your horse or ours to take you and your horse to the next level. From the beginner rider to the rider looking to show on the AA circuit; and the weanling to the seasoned companion, we will create individualized plans to take you where you and your horse want to go. Welcome to Sycamore Grove! Our 18 acre private farm offers limited boarding for geldings. We host your horse in large, safely fenced pastures with hurricane proof run in sheds. The barn boasts a feed room and tack room, with an outdoor wash rack. This peaceful farm does not offer a lesson program; however you are free to bring your preferred trainer in for lessons with no additional charge (must have proof of insurance). Your horse will enjoy lush pasture, hay, access to salt blocks, fresh water, and premium grain twice daily. Owner lives and works onsite! We gladly blanket to owners specifications. With over 20 years of "horse experience," including being a grand prix level professional groom, we are well qualified to take the very best care of your horse!

Cornerstone Horse Farm is a retirement boarding barn specializing in senior horse care. The 30 acre facility has a 4 stall barn that is currently under construction (June 2018), several run in shelters, and a rotational grazing pasture system. Pasture board is available now and stall board will be available once the barn is complete. Both boarding options are full service packages. For pasture board this includes a ProElite grain ration, orchardgrass hay when grazing is limited, a deworming program and regular barefoot hoof trims. Supplements, medications, flymasks and blanketing services are included if provided by owner. Stall board will include all of the pasture board services with access to a stall for feeding, inclement weather, or a 12/12 turnout schedule. Each stall has a dutch door with an individual run to encourage more movement even when confined. ProElite grain rations can be either Senior, Diet Balancer, or Starch Wise depending on the calorie needs of each horse, and hay pellets are available as an add on for horses with dental problems. The farm is a quiet relaxed atmosphere where the horses graze or lounge in the shelters at their choice. Herds are small, typically 3-6 horses, with a maximum of 6 boarders at one time to ensure individualized attention.
