Debbie Smith began horseback riding as an adult, and has been riding for over 17 years. She has enjoyed both dressage (to Second Level) and hunter/jumper (at local SAHJA shows as well as “A” shows) and has also spent time trail riding. Debbie offers lessons for beginning riders to show competitors and for all ages. We want our riders to be happy and confident on their horses, so we concentrate on teaching a balanced seat until the rider chooses his or her favorite discipline. Our program is devoted to creating safe, well-rounded riders with a solid foundation in English riding, trail riding, jumping, and dressage. Good horsemanship is a must, and lessons are customized to each student's interests and abilities. Students are welcome and encouraged to engage in fun horsey activities together, such as group trail rides, clinics, and horse shows. Lessons are $40 per hour, and newcomers are always welcome to come meet the horses and audit a lesson. We have some lease horses available. Ryan has been coaching the UC Davis Equestrian Team for nearly two years with much success.

Contact me for English riding lessons or Western Riding lessons. I teach adults, children and youth riders. I really enjoy teaching young riders how to learn to ride. Many of the kids that I started now have children of their own, that I am teaching.

I offer a summer horse back riding camp. Students are divided by English and Western. They will learn basic grooming, horsemanship, riding balance, horse care. My lessons are fun, positive and learning based. I have been teaching for the past 20 years.

At the end of the program kids will get to attend an English or Western schooling show.

I have horses and ponies available that are seasoned show horses, and safe for young riders. I also provide the englsih or western tack and saddles. Using one of my lesson horses is a great way to get started without the cost of owning your own horse or pony. I also have horses including quarter horses and paint horses available for lease

I offer partial leases, haul ins, private and group horseback riding lessons. Everything from a full service show barn participating in A and B level Horse shows to local English and Western schooling shows.

I also work with advanced riders specializing in trail, showmanship and western pleasure.
