At the young age of 8 years old Megan began riding and fell in love instantly, but by the time she was 10 was showing on the "a" circuit with some of the top trainers in the tri state area. Throughout high school Megan continued her riding career showing from Ocala Fl, to Hits NY, and even marshall and sterling finals. Once she graduated Megan gave up her amateur status and has since been working with both young horses and riders starting them from the ground up and helping them reach their goals. Lower Cross Farm is a small, relaxing stable in Saddle River New Jersey. Lower Cross Farm is home to 12 loving horses. Some which are boarders and some which are our very own. All three of our Welsh Ponies are USEF National and/or, Reserve Regional and/or, National Champions. Also one of our ponies is inducted into the horse stars of fame. We accept all breeds of horses and all ages and experience levels of riders with an emphasis on correctness, and creating and maintaining happy horses and riders in a safe atmosphere. Many of our lesson students are working towards competition goals, and we strive to make showing a fun and pressure free experience.

In addition to our private, hour long lessons, we offer 'tiny tot' leadline lessons for young children, and can accommodate special needs riders as well. Whether you're brand new to riding, or coming back into the sport after time off, our lessons will help you reach your goals!

All of our lesson horses are schooled regularly by the trainers and advanced students so as to keep them well educated and ready to teach you!

In addition to lessons, we offer full and partial training packages to help you reach your goals for your horse. Nicole is also available to travel to your facility for lessons/clinics, and we also accept ship-in lessons.... See More
