SJD Show Horses offers Lessons, Training and Horse Showing Services for Hunt Seat and Western Disciplines, Cross Rails and Games with an emphasis on Horsemanship and Horse Safety. Learning about horses expands beyond riding in our program to include a breadth of knowledge about equine anatomy grooming, and proper care. Red Oak Equestrian LLC is a small eight acre family run farm offering field and stall board. Basic board includes two feedings of quality feed per day, round bails and square bails and worming every twelve weeks. You are responsible for cleaning your own stall for stall board and farm will supply up to ten bags of bedding per month. Field board is $400/month. Stall board is $550/month. Farm offers large lighted sand ring with lights, smaller sand ring, grass field with jumps and small trail around pond that we take the horses swimming in. We are a NO drama farm. We accept all breeds of horses and all ages and experience levels of riders with an emphasis on correctness, and creating and maintaining happy horses and riders in a safe atmosphere. Many of our lesson students are working towards competition goals, and we strive to make showing a fun and pressure free experience.

In addition to our private, hour long lessons, we offer 'tiny tot' leadline lessons for young children, and can accommodate special needs riders as well. Whether you're brand new to riding, or coming back into the sport after time off, our lessons will help you reach your goals!

All of our lesson horses are schooled regularly by the trainers and advanced students so as to keep them well educated and ready to teach you!
