Debbie has intensively trained with and worked for the best in world including World Renowned and legendary George H. Morris (Chief d'quipt of the US Equestrian Team), along with Frank Madden, William B. Cooney, Sandy and Barry Lobel, and AQHA Horsewoman OTY Andy Moorman. Debbie also worked with and for several US and European, Olympian Dressage riders and has ridden in and attending many Hunter/Jumper and Dressage Clinics. Debbie has qualified and shown in both the Medal and Maclay National Finals two years in a row at Madison Square Garden, New York, NY and The Pennsylvania Nationals, Harrisburg, PA. Debbie also has acquired numerous Equitation, Hunter and Jumper Championships and wins at such prestigious shows such as Devon, Ox Ridge, Fairfield, The Hampton Classic and Syracuse. In addition, as a junior rider, Debbie was selected to compete in the Dressage Junior Olympics. Debbie has also worked abroad in Frankfurt and Ankum Germany to train Jumper and Dressage European Warmbloods for selection to be imported to the USA. Debbie has also managed several large well known show barns (with up to 80 horses) in Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Kentucky.
. Debbie also has several years experience helping veterinarians in New Jersey and Pennsylvania including those associcated with University of Pennsylvania's New Bolten Center. Debbie has judged Local horse shows in Florida and with the Alabama Hunter Jumper Association. Debbie has a Bachelor's degree in both English/Communication and Political Science.

Debbie has a great passion and love for all animals and loves to teach children and adults to ride to their fullest potential with their horses and ponies. Not only does she teach them to ride well, but desires to educate them to understand, feel and think for themselves to become truly effective riders and to develop a winner mentality…that in turn can positively influence and correctly train their horses. Debbie believes that good horsemanship, positive attitudes, and correct riding leads to happier horses and ponies and satisfied riders and in turn results are a win-win situation for all.

Debbie is Hunter/Jumper/Equitation trainer in Central Florida where she taught riders of all levels for show and pleasure and has taken several students and horses to various Championships, wins and year end awards in the Central Florida area such as WEC, HITS, CFHJA, Grand Oaks, Horse Shows in the Park, PCHA, Tampa, Fox Lea Farm, GOHJA and local shows.

Kris started his career early on a breeding farm in New Mexico where he learned how to raise foals and break babies.

Seeking to learn the methodologies of training and horsemanship at the highest caliber, Kris moved to California to work with international Grand Prix and Longines FEI World Cup rider Jenni Martin-McAllister and Steve McAllister.

It was here that Kris tuned his talents both as a rider and trainer with an extensive focus in work on the flat and gymnastics.The core of the program uses a sensitive approach to unlocking the horses’ muscles while riding, through massage and stretching. On several occasions Kris also had the unique opportunity to work closely with Buddy Brown. As Assistant Trainer to Jenni Martin-McAllister and Steve McAllister he worked long-hours diligently riding young horses, teaching and showing.

Kris competed on the “A” circuit at prestigious shows such as: Pebble Beach, Del Mar, the Oaks, and HITS Thermal Desert Circuit from Hunter Derbies to Grand Prix jumpers. Aboard “Fly” he successfully competed through the 1.45m jumper divisions. Onboard his mare, Shalimar he has successfully competed through the Grand Prix jumper Divisions.

Kris successfully trained students from beginners all the way to the Grand Prix. In 2014 Kris made the decision to open his own equestrian training facility, Kris Di Carlo Equestrian, that would ultimately allow for him to continue his dedication to the maintenance and well-being of horse and rider. The philosophy of classical horsemanship along with a growing understanding of the mechanics of the horse gives Kris the expertise to successfully care for and train a diverse group of horses and riders. Through his in depth knowledge of flatwork and gymnastics, Kris instills in horse and rider confidence and understanding of the technical aspects of jumping.

This system translates into success over courses and in the show ring. His knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication to horse and rider makes Kris an ideal trainer. Respect and encouragement is the keystone to his training program.

Hunter Ventures is a hunter/jumper training facility for all ages and abilities. We offer a wide variety of choices in services. Full and partial board are available to fit each individual horse owners needs. Training is provided for the young, green horse as well as the "problem" horses and those wanting to go to the show ring. Lessons are for ages 4 to 84 of all riding levels, beginner through advanced. Lazy S-n-K Ranch is located in North Fort Myers, Florida right off of I-75. We offer horseback riding lessons in English or Western and horse training. Lessons are available for riders of all ages, 6 to adult, and all skill levels, beginner to advanced.
We have well trained school and performance horses that can accommodate riders that just want to ride for pleasure to ones that will allow you to enter the world of horse showing.
