Madchen Giesler, owns and operates Rock-A-Bye Ranch, a full service training and sales barn. We specialize in Hunter/Jumper training from young horses to Grand Prix as well as sales, sales consignment and imports. We are located on in beautiful Gardnerville, Nevada just 20 minutes from South Lake Tahoe and a half hour from Carson City.

We offer lessons for beginner to advanced riders and training programs for young horses to the Grand Prix level. Our trainers have experience riding and training through the upper levels and are active participants in the California A Show Circuit. We have 25 stalls on the property and two 5+ acres pastures. Horses are fed 2-3 flakes of hay twice daily, grain fed at lunch if supplied by owner, stalls cleaned daily (shavings added as needed), horses blanketed and unblanketed, and 5 lessons or training rides weekly. We have eleven 200x80 lush grass pastures that horses are turned out on 5 days a week for a minimum of two hours. All pastures have heated automatic waters and electric fencing.

Group lessons (currently only two per group until the third lesson horse gets more practice in) are available. Our rates are very reasonable and we offer discounts for multiple riders/lessons paid in advance. RNG is contracted with the Department of Family Services as well as Desert Regional Center and accepts vouchers. We offer services in Las Vegas as well as Pahrump.
Our Pahrump location offers more animals to visit with and learn about.
