We have to offer our clients on site trainers, instructors, farrier, message therapy, 125 x 76 indoor and 150 x 200 outdoor arenas, large sand round pen, ceiling fans over every stall and in hallways, automatic waterers in all stalls and heated waterers in turn outs, wash rack with hot and cold for year round bathing, forage based feed program using ADM feed products and locally grown hay, club room with bathroom and kitchenette, two tack rooms, trailer parking, year round lessons and training, groups welcome, from schools, youth groups, scouts, 4-H, ect.

Riding lessons will be taught by American Riding Instructor's Association certified Katina Anderson. Katy specializes in the Saddle Seat discipline, but has experience with Hunt Seat and Western as well. She also has a Master's Degree in Education. Lessons can be given on your own horse, or on AEC's lesson horses. No previous experience is needed. Lessons run about 60 minutes and are generally given once per week. Since 1970, the family-owned and operated business has been among the area’s premier boarding and horse facilities. Spectators enjoy an air-conditioned lounge and fireplace for viewing the indoor ring as well as patios for viewing the two outside rings.
Ridgefield Riding Academy exists for horses and the people who love to ride. English and Western riding lessons are offered for children and adults.
“We have an all encompassing program for all aged riders beginning at age 6,” said Ridgefield owner Tracey Gentry Ryan, who was born into a family that trained and showed horses. “Customers range from recreational riders to competing at rated hunter jumper shows and reining shows. Our facility is well established and has produced many successful riders, instructors and champion horses.”
The academy has two excellent riding instructors, Stephanie Petersen and Annie Vibbert, who know how to put the “fun” in horseback riding and teach riders with all levels of experience.
Ridgefield hosts summer camps June 14-17, June 28-July 1, July 12-15, and July 26-29 and also offers advanced and adult clinics, birthday parties, and three charity horseshows each year. Horseshows are on April 30, May 1, June 4-5, and Sept. 24-25.
