Pond View is a great farm for kids to learn from the ground up. They are taught how to be safe around the barn and horses. All brushing and tacking up is done by them. Once they are able to walk and trot on their own -,they can move to a group lesson w/other kids their level. We are across from Tymor Park which have trails for us to ride on when they are ready. Riding lessons and training in dressage, hunters, and jumpers. I use a natural approach to training that is kept within the means of the horse and/or rider's abilities at the time. I look to create relaxed, confident athletes who are comfortable with the task at hand. Sometimes this takes going back a few steps to re-do some basics, other times it takes pushing beyond your "limits". A solid basic foundation is the key to success for both horse and rider. She has been riding for over 30 years and has worked with some of the best trainers, including olympians as well as many grand prix riders in dressage, jumpers, combined training, equitation, hunters and graduated from Centenary College, one of the top equine schools, with a BA.
