Here at Rick Baer Training Stables, we offer an established PROFESSIONAL western horseback riding lesson & horse training program. Having over 30 years of proven performance & experience is what sets us apart from many other western training programs. Our barn is a full service performance horse training facility specializing but not limited to, the exciting equestrian sport of Reining. Additionally we start colts/fillies for many equestrian professionals within most disciplines and also work on correcting problematic horses. Our assistant trainers/instructors are true horseman, highly skilled & trained with life-long horsemanship experience. We value the importance of giving you a solid foundation & avoiding the creation of bad habits. We teach you everything from the fundamental basics, to fine tuning & honing the skills of the seasoned rider. Our accomplished lesson horses are sweet natured with an abundance of Reining/Showmanship/Western Riding show experience, thereby helping to provide the optimum results for you the rider. I teach western, hunter under saddle, horsemanship, trail, showmanship, and trail rides are available. Lesson horses are available to you if you do not have a horse. Welcome to Morton Show Horses! Owned and operated by Tracy Morton. Morton Show Horses, formerly Montgomery Show Horses specializes in the training of youth and amateur riders looking to compete at any level in the individual and All-Around performance events or simply to learn the basics of horsemanship.

Tracy is an equestrian coach, horse trainer and equestrian judge from Orange County, California. She has been in the equestrian business and in the show pen for more than 35 years, and has trained Quarter Horses and Paints for the All-Around events such as Halter, Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Western Equitation/Horsemanship, Trail, Western Riding, Hunter Under Saddle and Hunt Seat Equitation. Tracy has led her students and their horses to multiple World Titles, Top Five and Top Ten honors in the AQHA, APHA, PtHA, and PBHA World Shows.

Tracy prides herself on having a small training program in order to provide more personal instruction for both horse and rider. She ONLY offers private lessons on her show horses, with no more than two students at a time. She accepts riders ages 6 to Adult, and offers after school lessons.
