We have fun but safe riding lessons. I have been a full time riding instructor for 9 years, I certainly love what I do. I typically start at the age of 5 but I have had some students start as early as 4 years old. Right now my oldest student is 50 so as you can see I have a wide range of ages. I do use my personal horses, I have at times traveled to other barns if need be. My rates are 4-5 year olds are a half an hour private lesson for $15, 6 years old and up is an hour private lessons for $25, group rate for the hour lesson is $5 off each participant. At Sunset Stables we give instruction in huntseat, western, showmanship, trail (class and riding) offer lessons for the most nervous of beginner to more advanced riders who want to show on the circuit. We can get you to your very first show or for more experience riders offer the polish it takes for the winner circle. We enjoy showing but we put our focus on safe proper technique to make sure the rider and horse gets the most from the experience. We offer lessons from ages 4 and up. Riders Unlimited, Inc. is uniquely qualified to provide Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies to individuals with disabilities. To support the EAAT program, we also offer riding lessons to the public. We are also preparing to offer programming to veterans through the Sandusky Veterans Home.
