We are a small, family owned, family and faith oriented farm with a close knit staff and volunteers who are here because they love horses and people. Our classes are small (mostly one on one with an instructor), resulting in close personal attention during lessons. Our horses are tried and true safe lesson horses.Our instructors offer a breadth of experience from eventing, jumping, English equitation, to western pleasure. Primarily an eventing group we teach the classic principles of jumping and dressage. We involve ourselves yearly in hunter paces, trail rides, beach rides, drag fox hunting, dressage, eventing, and endurance. Our niche is boarding student horses and leasing out school horses for students to learn on, show, or just enjoy. We strive to help our students reach their own personal goals, whatever they may be, and to do what's right for you and your horse! Come join in on the learning and fun! Lunar Winds Stables' lesson program is based on training ideals that strengthen bonds and communicate with horses through their mind, voice, emotions, and body language. Through riding, they learn how their seat affects the horse, and learn how to recognize different types of horse behavior and what could be done to make problem behaviors better. Jamie Gunyula has been teaching for nearly 15 years and has taken many riders from their first few rides in the lesson program to winning ribbons at the shows on their own horses. She had the amazing opportunity to work as an assistant to advanced rider and successful horseman, Jeffrey Taylor, for 8 years. Those years of hard work and invaluable experience from Jeffrey sharpened her teaching, riding, and training skills. During that time Jamie competed through the Intermediate level, including a CIC 2*, and brought many young horses along through the levels successfully.

Jamie welcomes riders of all levels and has several wonderful school horses available. She is also happy to travel to you on your own horse and offers coaching at the horse shows whenever available.

Sherri is a high honors graduate of Kent State University with Bachelor of Science degree in teaching. She currently runs one of the largest horse 4-H clubs in the county. Our professional is Heather Froehlich. Heather is a second generation horse trainer with 15 years teaching and training experience already at the age of 28. She has extensive experience in hunters, jumpers, equitation, dressage and horse health care. Heather has very successfully shown at Regional A rated shows qualifying for nationals 6 consecutive years as a child rider as well as qualifying numerous students for finals as well.
Heather has trained with a variety of professional trainers including Lynn Cartellone, Jeff Gogul, Farra Phillips-Hillyard and John Roper. She has also attended numerous clinics, studying the concepts of George Morris, Susan Harris, Felicitous, and Frank Madden. From 2006 - 2008 she spent in Central Pennsylvania training horses and riders of all levels including serving as assistant coach for the Bucknell Equestrian Team.
Heathers is an experienced and enthusiastic trainer dedicated to producing well-rounded, effective and confident equestrians. Anyone who works with Heather comes to appreciate the one on one attention given to both the horse and rider and the attention to details. Heather has attained a high skill level of riding and is able to school or re-school the greenest of horses. We teach all ages and levels of hunter, jumper and hunt-seat equitation riding and will help you reach your specific riding goals while learning invaluable horsemanship skills.
Our trainer and students attend shows and clinics in order to keep current on the latest riding techniques.
