We are a small, family owned, family and faith oriented farm with a close knit staff and volunteers who are here because they love horses and people. Our classes are small (mostly one on one with an instructor), resulting in close personal attention during lessons. Our horses are tried and true safe lesson horses.Our instructors offer a breadth of experience from eventing, jumping, English equitation, to western pleasure. Western, Hunt Seat and Dressage Lessons. Western lessons include barrel racing, natural horsemanship, western pleasure and hunter under saddle, horsemanship and equitation, showmanship, beginning reining and team penning. Philosophies and techniques from Clinton Anderson's natural horsemanship and Lynn Palm's western dressage are utilized. The instructor has received Ohio Paint Horse Club high point all around awards in the events above and was 3rd in the nation in Paint Horse Honor Roll in barrel racing. Earth and Sky Equestrian is an English hunt seat "home base" for learning riding and horsemanship skills. Our emphasis is on the Hunter/Jumper. We provide instruction in basic skills from the total beginner to the advanced rider. We will make you a confident independent rider, no matter what your goals are. Hello there! My style of teaching is based around the principle that bettering one's self will directly benefit their ability to work in unity with their horse. I firmly believe that what we bring to the relationship defines the limitations of our partnership, and that the majority of horsemanship is about building yourself up to be the person your horse needs. I always seek to empower each horse and human as individuals first, and then as a unified partnership. My lessons are centered around building mindfulness within ourselves and our horses, emotional resilience and regulation, and creating better understanding and practice of how to effectively communicate with our horses. Maybe the riding part is going great but you desire a deeper connection and feeling of togetherness with your equine partner. I have over ten years experience riding, including a period of employment as a trail guide. Lessons would be at your home/or boarding facility on your own horse. I do have a lesson horse available if needed. I showed western pleasure in 4-h, have some experience in cutting, reining and mounted shooting. Lessons are $25/hour with discounts for purchasing packages.

Training:I do not finish horses but I can help solve some problems you may be having. In addition I really enjoy working with weanlings and yearlings groundwork etc. I will come to you if you have a round pen or you can board your horse(s) where I keep my own. I charge $1=100 /week plus mileage. Off site or $50/week + board if you choose to do that.

Includes a ride/working with your horse 5 days a week for 1-2 hours
I will also offer specialized services such as stall cleaning, barn upkeep, feeding, horse/house/pet sitting ($15/hour) and excercise riding ($20/hour)

I've been riding in dressage and eventing for 10+ years, have a background with United States Pony Club, and worked for various barns over the years.
