Lessons generally last one hour, but extra time should be allowed for tacking and cooling off, brushing, etc. It is recommanded that you arrive at least 15 min early.

Helmets are encouraged but required only for fences. Jeans or breeches (no shorts!) are recommended and a shoe or boot that allows you to wear a spur.

Hello there! My style of teaching is based around the principle that bettering one's self will directly benefit their ability to work in unity with their horse. I firmly believe that what we bring to the relationship defines the limitations of our partnership, and that the majority of horsemanship is about building yourself up to be the person your horse needs. I always seek to empower each horse and human as individuals first, and then as a unified partnership. My lessons are centered around building mindfulness within ourselves and our horses, emotional resilience and regulation, and creating better understanding and practice of how to effectively communicate with our horses. Perhaps you are struggling with anxiety around riding, or your horse spooks too much for your comfort. Maybe the riding part is going great but you desire a deeper connection and feeling of togetherness with your equine partner.
