Windy Hill Equestrians, Inc. is located at Fremont Hills Country Club in Los Altos Hills, CA. We are a family oriented full service training barn specializing in hunters, jumpers and equitation. The team at Windy Hill Equestrian includes two full time trainers, an assistant trainer and four grooms.

Our facility includes one large training ring, several large and small turn out paddocks, a Eurocizer, round pen, and stalls of varying size and configurations including stalls with paddocks.

Here at Windy Hill we have a great sense of community through a great group of clients including both children and adults. Everyone enjoys cheering each other on and visiting with friends. In addition to attending an average of 10 horse shows, mainly in northern and southern California, we also host several social events and clinics during the year. Maxi Sulamith Moon is a former german FEI rider and has been producing and training several horses for artistic shows aswell for competitions. Over the last 10 years she has been the artistic creator for several horseshow events including the International Show jumping event opening in Brussels and several other shows across Europe and for the Theatre Equestre de Wattrelos.
The lessons are based on working on the connection between horse and rider and improve half pass, extended trot, flying changes, piaffe and passage.

Instructing horse enthusiasts to become conscientious thoughtful horse owners.
Teaching from the beginning. Safety, how horses think and what are they feeling is SUPER important to me. I want to help my students create a calm responsive partner in their horse in what ever discipline they choose.
Keeping the horse's mind and body relaxed is a high priority for me… not to say I won’t add pressure… I will… I just want to present it in a way not to overwhelm and blow up either the horse or student.
Keeping all that in mind this is what I go over in the beginner lessons:
Approaching horses, haltering , leading, grooming, minor vet care, health, nutrition, saddling, bridling, rein handling,
Leg cues, balance and equitation. I have access to arena and trails.
Students are started with a series of undetermined lessons on the ground first and foremost. As a student progresses in their understanding and response time they are moved into mounted education.

I also offer problem solving, trailer loading and obstacle clinics.
I have horses, if you don’t have your own. 150 lbs max weight of person to ride.
