I have been teaching teens and adults in basic dressage and jumping for more than 30 years. I especially enjoy working with riders who wish to truly connect with their horses. We are a small facility offering riding lessons in both western and English riding. Along with learning how to ride, every student also learns traditional horsemanship with each lessons. Lessons are offered semi-private and private.
We also offer guided 45 minute trail rides for beginners on up on our property. Trail is very scenic and half of the ride goes right along buffalo creek.

Here at Meraki Farm, we strive to help people (Children and adults alike) learn to communicate with horses in a safe and friendly way to encourage a lasting relationship between horse and rider. We expect our students to learn to care for, tack, groom, and bathe the horses along with learning to control the horse both on the ground and in the saddle. We will be doing fun shows for students to show off their newly learned skills and will have summer camps up and running for next summer. We are currently geared towards beginner and intermediate students both English and western including showing. We have several very safe lesson horses for any level of rider. Lessons are available for students ages 8 and up (Younger on a case by case basis) on weekday evenings and weekends at our farm in Fombell, PA. Horseback riding provides a fun way to develop patience and understanding as well as a sense of responsibility. Our students will have the opportunity to lease select lesson horses to gain an understanding of what it takes to own a horse. We do not use old, tired horses that do the work for you.
