We are a non-showing, no pressure riding stables that offer one hour private pay-as-you-go lessons i.e. no need to buy lesson packages as with most stables in our area. The lessons are suitable for all levels of rider from absolute beginner through advanced, teaching both western and english style with the opportunity for trail rides and foxhunting for students enrolled in our lesson progam. I can halter break foals, start horses under saddle, or finish a horse in any of the following disciplines; western, english, jumping, showmanship, contesting and trail. I charge $35 per hour and like the owner of the horse to learn my training techniques so they know what to do with the horse when they are working with them. I also do monthly training that requires the horse be boarded on out farm. $250 for full care board and $250 for training. I work with the horse at least 4 times a week. My main goal when training is to have a calm, respectful and willing horse on the ground and in the saddle. I believe the proper ground work is the key to most problems. I give lessons to beginners up to experienced riders. I also will give lessons to all ages; no on is too young or too old in my eyes. I prefer private lessons only but will give a group lesson up to two riders at a time. I charge $35 per private lesson and $25 per rider for a group lesson. Lessons usually last 1 1/2 hours because I guarantee an hour on the horses back.

I have 19 years of experience training horses/riders. I have had over 6 different personal trainers and I study John Lyons,Pat Parelli,Guy McLean, Chris Cox, Clinton Anderson, Craig Cameron and many others on a consistent basis. I believe you can never know everything and the same techniques do not work on every horse. I have shown in all of the above disciplines and have done very well.

Jamie Gunyula has been teaching for nearly 15 years and has taken many riders from their first few rides in the lesson program to winning ribbons at the shows on their own horses. She had the amazing opportunity to work as an assistant to advanced rider and successful horseman, Jeffrey Taylor, for 8 years. Those years of hard work and invaluable experience from Jeffrey sharpened her teaching, riding, and training skills. During that time Jamie competed through the Intermediate level, including a CIC 2*, and brought many young horses along through the levels successfully.
