Little Glen Stables has programs and services for a wide range of interests. Whether you are a seasoned equestrian interested in further training, boarding or showing; a parent interested in a pony ride for children; or a beginner riding looking for safe and fun instruction, we have services and programs to suit your needs. We have a full service lesson program for beginners of all ages and experienced riders of all levels. Our quality school horses and ponies come in all sizes to accommodate riders ages four and up. Little Glen travels to many of the top A-Circuit shows and schooling shows. Jenna Hoy, a graduate of Lake Erie College, available for full time lessons and training. Jenna Hoy is also the coach of the Little Glen Equestrian Team, a interscholastic equestrian team for middle school and high school riders. Jamie Gunyula has been teaching for nearly 15 years and has taken many riders from their first few rides in the lesson program to winning ribbons at the shows on their own horses. She had the amazing opportunity to work as an assistant to advanced rider and successful horseman, Jeffrey Taylor, for 8 years. Those years of hard work and invaluable experience from Jeffrey sharpened her teaching, riding, and training skills. During that time Jamie competed through the Intermediate level, including a CIC 2*, and brought many young horses along through the levels successfully.

Jamie welcomes riders of all levels and has several wonderful school horses available. She is also happy to travel to you on your own horse and offers coaching at the horse shows whenever available.

Instructors are CHA and or CCHI certified. We teach from all four levels. Trail riding is available Tuesday through Sunday and closed Mondays except holidays. Homeschool and Afterschool riding lessons are offered in the spring and fall.

Our professional is Heather Froehlich. Heather is a second generation horse trainer with 15 years teaching and training experience already at the age of 28. She has extensive experience in hunters, jumpers, equitation, dressage and horse health care. Heather has very successfully shown at Regional A rated shows qualifying for nationals 6 consecutive years as a child rider as well as qualifying numerous students for finals as well.
Heather has trained with a variety of professional trainers including Lynn Cartellone, Jeff Gogul, Farra Phillips-Hillyard and John Roper. She has also attended numerous clinics, studying the concepts of George Morris, Susan Harris, Felicitous, and Frank Madden. From 2006 - 2008 she spent in Central Pennsylvania training horses and riders of all levels including serving as assistant coach for the Bucknell Equestrian Team.
Heathers is an experienced and enthusiastic trainer dedicated to producing well-rounded, effective and confident equestrians. Anyone who works with Heather comes to appreciate the one on one attention given to both the horse and rider and the attention to details. Heather has attained a high skill level of riding and is able to school or re-school the greenest of horses. We teach all ages and levels of hunter, jumper and hunt-seat equitation riding and will help you reach your specific riding goals while learning invaluable horsemanship skills.
Our trainer and students attend shows and clinics in order to keep current on the latest riding techniques.

Hi. I have been teaching for the past 17 years. Excellent with starting the children and a good eye for refinement on the competitor. I have competed to the intermediate level of eventing. Shown third level dressage. Rode professionally in California. Great at teaching riders softness and correctness for both the dressage and jumping phases. Build the riders confidence by making safety the number 1 priority. Building a correct position and allow the riders to develop at their own pace. *Note - we have moved into our own private facility, so address has changed as of June 2013*. We are a non-showing, no pressure riding stables that offer one hour private pay-as-you-go lessons i.e. no need to buy lesson packages as with most stables in our area. The lessons are suitable for all levels of rider from absolute beginner through advanced, teaching both western and english style with the opportunity for trail rides and foxhunting for students enrolled in our lesson progam. We specialize and have much experience with first time riders of all ages, with many adults and children as young as 6, helping those who have never seen a horse all the way through to the wannabe first time horse owner and beyond. We have both indoor and outdoor riding arenas, as well as onsite 29 acres of private wooded land available for year round riding.
