This is a one of a kind program our instructor's build a foundation of Confidence with our students in ground work first, than riding and then the basics of trick training. the founder of our program has taught all of the horses and has shown them all over the country. Our horses are of average height to pony's to mintures.
Our founding was taught and mentored by the best movie trainers in the industry.And he hopes to pass on this art.This is a very well rounded Program with art, music etc..this instruction is for all levels of riders from beginers to the advanced.. By joining our lesson program, you will learn all aspects of horseback riding from how to safely catch and lead a horse, to proper grooming techniques, to tacking up, riding, and the things you should do after your ride.

Our horses are calm and quiet mounts, great for the beginner rider and timid riders, but they are also very well-trained and can challenge more experienced riders as well.

We offer riding lessons to students ages 4 and up for our lesson program. We offer support, supervision, career management and a fun learning environment. Whether at our farm or at competitions locally or on the circuit, we aim to provide personalized attention to your goals and dreams.
  We strive to pass our experiences and other valuable information on to our students in a way that is both fun and challenging, while emphasizing safety and kindness to the horses.
Here you can learn the ins and outs of horses both on the ground and in the saddle!
We do not require formal riding attire but ask that the student wears long pants and closed-toe shoes with a short heel. We have riding helmets to lend to you initially to minimize your expenses while you are giving this exciting sport a try.

Skyline Training Stables is a small lesson, training and boarding facility located about 1 mile off of Rt. 30 North, in quiet Hampstead, Maryland. We have our own lesson horses, or you can trailer your horse in. Lessons: Private 1 Hour: $50.00 (Our horse) Private 1 Hour: $50.00 (Trailer in) Private 1 Hour: $45.00 (Student Boarder) Semi-Private and Group Lesson rates available on request. Negative Coggins required for all ship-ins. Amenities: We have both an indoor ring that is approximately 65 x 160, and an outdoor sand ring that is approximately 110 x 225. A finished tack room is available, wash stall with h/c water, and 10 x 10 matted stalls. 4 spacious grass fields with small herd turn out. The stalls are picked and cleaned daily and high quality hay and feed is fed, with each horse's diet custom designed with care. Water buckets are dumped and cleaned daily. Board includes feed, hay, stall cleaning, turn in/out, fly masks and blankets/sheets put on/changed as needed, determined by weather, not convenience. Scheduled vet, farrier, and dental appointments are also included in the board. Payment for vet, farrier, dental, hauling and *horse shows is due at time of service. Qualified Instructor that will travel to you or you can ride at my facility using the school horses provided in the Poolesville/Montgomery County MD area. I specialize in finding your perfect seat for a comfortable and correct ride. My background is in hunt seat equitation on the flat and over fences, as well as training level dressage. I have been a rider most of my life, attended and graduated from Southern Seminary College in VA and rode on the intercollegiate open equestrian team under JT Tallon - courses included stable management, hunt seat equitation, equine biology. Currently, I personally ride only dressage but continue to teach hunt seat and training level dressage. I am 44 years old and have a lot of experience to help you feel comfortable with your horse on the ground and under tack.
