Blue Mountain Farm is a quiet, privately owned facility in Frederick, Maryland, less than five minutes away from Route 340. By joining our lesson program, you will learn all aspects of horseback riding from how to safely catch and lead a horse, to proper grooming techniques, to tacking up, riding, and the things you should do after your ride.

Our horses are calm and quiet mounts, great for the beginner rider and timid riders, but they are also very well-trained and can challenge more experienced riders as well.

Haul-in lessons are welcome! We also offer trick training instruction, and accept horses for full-training in 30, 60, and 90-day increments.
