We are location in the Old Thompson Mill Rd. - Hamilton Mill area on a family oriented private farm in Buford. We have two lighted arenas, one with an attached round pen. Safety will be a priority and incorporated into all the lessons. We provide helmets and use break away stirrups. Ages start at 7 years and lessons include: Riding Skills, Beginning to Intermediate, Horse care and Games. Some of our students enjoy the competition teams where we go to local shows near by. Conveniently located, The Equestrian Reserve is in Alpharetta close to Johns Creek, Duluth, Cumming, Suwanee, and outlying communities. We are just 15 minutes north of the Atlanta perimeter.

At The Equestrian Reserve, we are certain you will discover there is no other equestrian program that offers such dynamic instructional programs meeting the needs of all riders including children ages 4 -18 and adults.

Whether a beginner or an advanced rider, we have developed numerous age appropriate introductory programs, a strong lesson program providing an ongoing skill based four level lesson continuum certificate program, and advanced equestrian opportunities.

Our school has well trained schooling and performance show horses to enable us to offer all around instruction utilizing AQHA standards. We train you in the disciplines: English Hunt Seat including equitation, hunter under saddle and jumping and/or Western Pleasure including horsemanship, showmanship, trail and western riding. Fortitude Farm offers a horse riding lesson program that is unique to the metro Atlanta area and located in the heart of Alpharetta Ga. We offer lessons 7 days a week, and have 4 different professional, fun, and SAFE riding instructors to choose from.

We are an English - Hunter- Jumper facility, however we have alliances to other dressage and western pleasure trainers.

We have a very family friendly atmosphere, and a relaxed "feel" even though we attend horse shows. There is no pressure to show, we welcome riders of ALL levels and aspirations!

Red Star Equestrian is a family oriented farm located in Maysville, GA offering beginner and intermediate english and western riding lessons for ages 6 and up. Lessons include learning how to groom brush the horse, saddle, and ride with an emphasis on safety and fun! Instructor Kristin Taylor has been riding horses for over 20 years and instructing for 10 years. She worked at the Lake Lanier Island Equestrian Center for 4 years teaching lessons and leading trail rides. During college she rode for the University of Georgia's Varsity Equestrian Team. Hi there! I'm a Dressage Rider, Trainer, L Judge and clinician. I am an USDF Bronze & Silver medalist and also an L Program Graduate with Distinction and working on my USEF little r application. I do lots of types of clinics - Ride a Test, Western dressage, Pony Club, etc. I have a pretty unique style in that I work with riders on the ground to get body awareness as I'm also a AFAA certified fitness professional and then work on their position to see how they can influence their horse correctly, kindly and classically without fighting or frustration. Riding is supposed to be FUN! I help riders who want to show find those savvy points they are missing as well as polish the strengths of their horse and maintain the quality of the gaits to present an oh so very lovely picture to the judge.
