We are a Barn with many years of experience in riding, showing and teaching how to properly ride a horse in a show setting.

We are a big part of the 4-H and our program is geared to start the beginner in a private lesson with the riders skills in mind to allow the individual to progress at there pace of achievement. We teach the beginners to advanced, children to adult. Our lessons are for 1/2 hour and 1 hour private one on one each. We also Show in , APHA, 4-H, Open and local for the type of experience you may have. We have many that are High point individuals and High point Barn.

RiverTenn is proud to Welcome Denise Cooper to it's training and lesson programs. Denise comes to us with over 30 years of Riding, Training, Showing and Clinic experience. Denise trained and has shown her Dressage Morgan horse Arkomia Tall Tales, to championships across three states. She has trained and cliniced with the Dressage "GREATS" such as Jeff Moore, Liz Searle, and Willy Arts. Denise is a competitor who understands what the horse needs, what the rider must do, and how to make both into winning pairs. Denise brings with her the philosophy of kindness, patience and reward for both horse and rider. She will often be heard saying to her students " Everytime you ride, make the horse yours. Be his partner, listen to each other and speak to each other."
Denise has shown and trained over 100 horses in Dressage, Hunt Seat and Western diciplines. That experience and dedication has earned her.

Brandy McDonnell is our Chief Riding Instructor. Brandy has more than 30 years of riding experience. Brandy is a certified "Master Instructor" from the Certified Horsemanship Association, allowing her to certify riders from beginning levels to the highest level of either English or Western style riding. The C.H.A. is one of the top leading certifying organizations for equine instructors. Brandy holds a lifetime membership in the C.H.A. as well as a lifetime membership with the American Quarter Horse Association (A.Q.H.A.).

Blue Point Stables, LLC, currently, and for years, has developed a very upbeat, strong and energetic Interscholastic Equestrian Association (I.E.A.) Show Team. The I.E.A. is for grades 4th through 12th. As of the 2019-2020 Season, we believe that we have one of the largest teams, if not the largest team, in East Tennessee.

Irvine Training currently operates out of Sport Horse Center & Arena in Clinton, TN -- 15 minutes from North Knoxville. Horses receive quality care in 12 x 12 or 12 x 14 stalls and are trained in the indoor arena, making year-round lessons and training a breeze. The barn also features two indoor wash bays with hot water, indoor cross-tie areas, and much more.
