Located in the heart of Brentwood Tennessee The Trish Franks School of Riding LLC is geared to the beginner thru intermediate adult or Youth rider. The Riding School has 7 certified instructors with accumulative experience of over 200 years. Adult professional instructors specialize in developing the beginner rider to enjoy English or Western Disciplines.

The latest addition to the team of instructors is a Natural Horsemanship Instructor with years of training and competes regularly in the Mustang Makeover Contest. Specialities of The Trish Franks School of Riding is English Equitation over Fences and the western discipline of Reining. Both disciplines have a year round show schedule for those that want the competitive side of horses. The school currently has 43 lesson/show horses available for instruction and competition at all levels. Students do not have to own their own horses.

The school has a yearly Interscholastic Equestrian Team (IEA) for middle and high school students to compete in English and Western events. Instructors work together to formulate the perfect Riding plan for your student whether their desire is competition or for pleasure. Summers are filled with camps and "Barn Days" throughout the summer.

Our mission in the Equestrian Sport of Riding is to teach a rider safety, to build confidence, develop partnerships, self esteem and leadership. Riders will learn every aspect of barn management, animal care, nutrition and health care.

GKF's goal is to develop confident, quality horses and confident correct riders.

We offer lessons for both children and adults.

We show from the local schooling shows to "AA" rated shows through out our Zone. If your goal is to compete, there are numerous opportunities to show throughout the year.

GKF is located on 88 acres in the bend of the Harpeth River in Franklin, Tn. Both pasture and stall boarding are available. Our large paddocks with four board fencing and run in sheds accommodate all the horses while turned out. Depending on the need of the horse, they can have as much turn out as they require. GKF has 16 stalls, 10 paddocks and 3 pony sheds. Most stalls are 11x16 or 10x12. GKF has 2 tack rooms, 2 wash bays, and several grooming stalls. exceptional turnout,
GKF's large arena 150 x 300hosts a full jump course by Fuzzy all weather arena, trails and plenty of room for conditioning is maintained for year round enjoyment. In addition, a seasonal jump field is erected in the lower acreage for open field jumping.
