The highly qualified, experienced staff of Hidden Creek Equestrian Center are dedicated to providing excellent equine care and management, individual training programmes, and professional, certified instruction for students of all ages and abilities. Our lesson programme is suitable for students of all ages and abilities, and we have well-trained school horses available for students. We have over 25 years experience teaching students to ride and we understand the complex, individual needs and goals of each student. There is not a 'one size fits all' system when teaching riding, each student has their own physical and psychological expectations and, sometimes, limitations, and we have the necessary experience to recognise this and work with each student as an individual, at their own pace. We specialise in riders who struggle with confidence issues, and will take as much time as it takes to build confidence and necessary skills so that horse and rider can be a partnership. Cherokee's Family Riding Center is a family owned and operated horse back riding facility. We offer a family environment and encourage children and adults to come out and enjoy all aspects of our horses and our riding areas. New students are welcome at any time and will be evaluated by a riding instructor and lessons will be given to their individual assessment. We offer both English and Western forms of riding. We provide our own lesson horses or you may feel free and bring your own horse. We look forward to hearing from you to schedule your next riding lesson with us! Lesson prices are $30.00 for a 1 hour session where the student does his/her own tacking with help as needed. $20.00 for a half hour lesson, these usually work well for the younger students. $15.00 for a half hour pony ride. This team has brought their knowledge together from all 3 rings to form a successful business. Believing strongly that "it takes a village", this team believes in a family oriented environment to help breed success. Hunter Run Farm trains riders from the school horse level to the AA show level in all rings.
