I am a professional riding instructor now offering private instruction, traveling to you and your horse. I have over 15 years showing experience in the Hunter/Jumper show ring. I studied Equine Science at a nationally accredited university, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Equestrian Studies. I primarily focus on the theories of George Morris, Bert De Nemothy and Linda Allen in my teachings. I will help you to overcome training issues through greater understanding of you and your horse’s needs. I focus on the horse and rider as a team and aim for progress from both, helping the rider develop confidence and independence. I can help you to improve your equitation and form over fences and on the flat. In addition I can help you to obtain the best “winning” performance from your horse, without using all sorts of artificial aids. All ages and experience levels are encouraged. Additionally I teach saddle seat and western. Furthermore, I am offering clinics to lesson programs and public barns, and will do local schooling show judging. I am willing to act as an equine buying and selling agent too. I have a very fun approach to training and schooling and seem to still be able to help people pull the ribbons!
