Lisa Nakayama has been teaching horsemanship for over 20 years and has been involved with horses her whole life. She has a BA in Horsemanship from Virginia Intermont College, one of the best schools in the country for horsemanship. She's previously worked at the world reknown Kentucky Horse Park as a demonstration rider. She is also certified by the Boy Scouts of America as a Horsemanship Merit Badge Counselor. Lisa is currently accepting a limited number of new students ages 6yrs and up.
Sunset Ranch offers a beautiful serene setting for riding atop Pupukea Ridge near Oahu's Waimea Bay. The ranch includes a covered riding arena, 14 stall barn,13 acre grass pasture, and bridle trail. Lesson horses, helmets, and other equipment are available.
