Varvel Sporthorses is a private breeding and training stable located in Bloomington Indiana. Head trainer Brynne Varvel is an FEI Rider and Trainer who has earned many accolades at every level through FEI Intermediate 1. She began riding when she was just five years old and although she started in Morgan hunters she quickly switched to dressage. She has now trained and competed three horses to FEI Levels ( Big Indian Creek (Intermediate 1), Coulee Bend Harmony (Intermediate 1), and JND's Illuminator (Intermediate 1)). She seeks to train horses fairly and adjusts to each horse as an individual in order to properly understand and progress them. Brynne integrates ground work alongside undersaddle training to ensure mutual respect and understanding between horse and rider. She has trained with Maryal Barnett, Lilo Fore, JT Burnley, Angela Jackson, George Williams, Lendon Gray, David Marcus, Laura Graves, and Oded Shimoni. In addition to her development as a trainer and rider, Brynne earned her Bachelors of Science in Public Affairs Management from Indiana University in 2021.
Brynne offers full training, private lessons, semiprivate lesson, virtual lessons, and video consultations.
Rates:
Full training: $800/month
Full Board: $600/month *no boarding offered without training*
Private lesson on your horse: $70/45min
Semi-private lesson on your horse: $50/per rider
Private lesson on my horses-limited: $85/45min
Private lesson on FEI horse-- limited:$200/45min
Virtual lesson via Zoom, Pixio, Pixem, MovenSee, Facetime: $70/45mins
Video Consultation-- send me a video and I will write back with exercises and information on how to address issues in training: $40

Yoni Rue is offering horseback riding lessons, horse training, and horse starting and breaking. His expertise is in dressage, western dressage, and breaking, but he has experience with hunter/jumpers, saddleseat, reining, and western pleasure. He has been riding for 16 years and has trained with Olympian Jaye Cherry (student of Hilda Guerney), German dressage master Johannes Westendarp, a student of the reining champion Craig Johnson, Geisla Festerling (daughter of German Olympic Coach), and international grand prix jumper Richard Spooner. And he has also attended Charlotte Dujardin and David Jay clinics. He got his start working for a student of the incomparable Albert Ostermaier and specialized working with problem horses and rebreaking poorly started horses.

In addition to his training expertise, Yoni has additional training in farriery to provide trimming services. He specially trained at Rood and Riddle with their certified journeymen farriers for 6 months to provide advanced podiatry knowledge to better the care he can provide for his clients.

Yoni is based out of Red Hill Stables located in Elletsville, IN, but will travel to accommodate clients. He can provide lesson horses at Red Hill Stables but would require own horse if traveling to you. He frequently travels to Lafayette, Columbus, and surrounding areas. Training offered in 30, 60, 90, or 120 day formats based on the needs of client and horse. Contact us to discuss needs and for the price of training fee for customized program. We offer affordable training packages anywhere from $200 per 30 days to $475 depending on level and type of training. Training includes free initial evaluation of horse, lessons with the owner or other riders of the horse, full stall board with hay and grain included, and horse worked regularly 5-6 days a week. Fee may be reduced if owner is willing to provide hay and grain. All veterinary and farrier expenses to be covered by the owner.

Take advantage of initial free evaluation. It's like receiving a training session for horse with no strings attached. We can talk about how best to customize a program for the horse and owner, and demonstrate all Arrow Rose Training has to offer.

We also offer off site training at your facility or barn. Mileage will be added expense, and facility must offer what is necessary for type of training horse is to receive.
