Templar Farm LLC is committed to training both horse and rider, of all levels, to their top potential. We offer both dressage instruction, as well as hunter/jumper. Our experienced trainers work with students just starting out, to advanced students looking to compete on the rated circuit. The premiere facility features 100’ x 200’ outdoor arena, 168’ x 65’ indoor arena with dust free footing and viewing area, and climate controlled lounge. Beginner through advanced lesson horses are available and haul- in’s are welcome.

Spots are available for training horses. We are happy to work with all, including young horses, severe rehab cases and troubled/difficult horses.

Baily Dent Equestrian is an established program located in just outside of Charlottesville, Va. at Millington Stables. Our facility boasts 50 stalls, 2 out door rings, spacious grassy turnout, and 1000+ acres of trails through Farmington Hunt Country. Baily Dent is our head trainer. She grew up riding and showing in Charlottesville, Virginia and has spent a lifetime showing at some of the most prestigious horse show in the country. Baily has successfully brought along many young horses and riders to achieve the same kind of success she has enjoyed throughout her career. Baily stresses good basics in her teaching and believes that this strong foundation is what brings riders success in and out of the show ring with their horses. Baily strives to use all forms of communication with her riders to identify how each individual learns best, be it visually, verbally or hepatically. Our lessons are geared toward any age rider who wants to learn a safe and effective approach to riding in a fun and friendly environment. Private and group lessons are available. Leg Up Stables is primarily a competitive Hunter/Jumper barn that offers full care boarding with daily turnout along with training for the beginner, intermediate and advance students located on 70 acres. Technical training along with learning the feel of the horse gives the student a complete education with the potential to truly become one with the horse. Dressage is taught up to Second Level and all students are instructed in basic Dressage, whatever their discipline, whether they plan to show or simply pleasure ride. Off premise shows are encouraged by not necessary and students attend both local and circuit shows up to AA. Quality school horses are provided but riders are encouraged to ride their own horses if able to do so. Lessons are provided in Dressage, Hunters and Jumpers . The property has outdoor jumping arena, large outdoor Dressage arena and indoor facilities along with perimeter trails with jump options. Lessons are taught six days a week in all weather from March to December for non boarders and year round for boarders. Clinics are hosted in the areas of Dressage, Hunter and Jumper

Nina began her experience in Pennsylvania on the family farm . When the time came for formal lessons Nina began her tutelage under Ms. Violet Haines of Gwynedd Valley . Ms Haines( PA's Horseman of the year 1986). Nina continued her experience through Hunter and Equitation in the show circuits of Eastern Pennsylvania. In her teens Nina was introduced to the Jumper circuit through Mr. Ralph Sims (Head of Skidmore College Riding Program for over 20 years) of Saratoga Springs New York. Under his strict instruction Nina rose to the Intermediate Jumper Division. Nina began teaching in her late teens and has continued to today.

A graduate from Delaware Valley of Science and Agriculture Majoring in Animal Husbandry specializing in Equine Studies rounded out her equine knowledge. Fox Pointe Farm and Fox Pointe Farm East have two beautiful facilities in New Kent County just 20 miles east of Richmond and 11 miles from Mechanicsville. Short drive from Rt. 64, Rt. 249, 30 and Rt. 360.

Boarding at Fox Pointe Farm : facility includes 27 acres, full care stall board, two barns, fans, tack/lounge, full bathroom, wash stalls hot/cold water.
Full care boarding includes feed, daily stall cleaning and small group or private turnout. Based upon weather and footing conditions.
Lessons are included in all boarding options. Fox Pointe Farm is open 7 days a week for boarders to enjoy their horses.

Fox Pointe Farm East : facility includes 140 acres, stall and pasture board, fans, oak stalls, tackroom, wash stall,/tack stall.Boarding includes feed, daily stall cleaning, large grass pasture, outdoor riding arena. Fox Pointe Farm is open 7 days a week for boarders to enjoy their horses.

Riding School is a USHJA Recognized Riding Lessons year round Tuesday -Sundays. Closed on Mondays. Quality horses and ponies are available to riders in the school program. Weekly group or private lessons. Lease horses are available. From beginning to riding at the high levels of competition, Fox Pointe Farm ensures that all riders gain an understanding of good horsemanship, superior care and grooming.

We pride ourselves on our hands on approach that focuses on horse and stable management as well as hunt seat equitation in the riding ring. Pine Crest Farm has private and group lessons available for the budding equestrian, adult looking to get back into riding, or the advanced student who wants to sharpen their skills for the show ring!

Our lesson program offers private or group lessons at reasonable rates with sibling and referral discounts! We individualize each lesson and try to keep the group at 4 or smaller to give each rider the most attention. Pine Crest Farm also offers horse showing opportunities to all students who take lessons.
