We are also happy to provide a shuttle service for your horse or pony. We can take them to the vet, show, clinic or take you out to the trails, drop you off and pick you up at another location.

Kelly Williams provides specialized training and coaching for the endurance and competitive trail riding athlete. We believe that in order to have a successful endurance horse with a long, competitive career you must first have a well-balanced and responsive horse. An endurance horse does not just “go down the trail." All of our horses are cross trained with dressage basics and cavaletti/ground pole exercises to develop balance and willingness. Conditioning is done on a variety of terrain including sand, rocks, hills, dirt roads and single track trails. Horses in training are exposed to bicycles, hikers, ATVs, water crossings and road riding. All horses are taught correct trot outs and standing quietly for veterinarian examinations.
We also understand that an endurance horse is nothing without excellent nutrition and farrier care. At Knicker Knob Stable we pride ourselves on having fit, healthy horses that look like they could step foot into the show ring at any time. We are located in the heart of endurance country; just 10 minutes from the Tevis Cup finish line.
