Just Us Horsin' Around uses Equine Theraplay which is a form of play whereas horses are used to assist in social development. Our horsemanship instruction includes proper riding techniques, understanding horse behavior, horse safety, horse care, tacking up the horse, feeding, stall maintenance, and much more.

We offer private lessons for $40.00 per person/per hour.
Four lessons package: $140.00 per person (when purchased and scheduled within 30 days.
Ten lessons package: $300.00 per person (when purchased and scheduled within 45 days.

We are geared towards the beginner to intermediate level western rider, and our students learn at their own pace. This ensures that they gain confidence right from the start. Our horse playground is an obstacle course which allows riders who enroll in our riding program to practice techniques required to go out on the trail. We simulate walking over logs, crossing creeks, walking over bridges, bending around trees, walking through narrow passages, one rein stop, side passing, and trail etiquette. I’ve been teaching horsemanship to beginner-advanced riders, barrel racing and pole bending, English and jumping, and offering trail rides to the public for 20 plus years. I also break and train horses. I offer these services on my horse or yours.

Luella Stables offers boarding, lessons for the beginner and intermediate rider and trail riding for all ages and requires no prior experience to participate. Lessons are offered Monday through Thursday. We specialize in first time riders and molding each student into all around equestrians. Students experience grooming, saddling, feeding, bathing and more about the overall experience of owning a horse. Students are welcome at the age of 4 and 5 but they are truly capable of gaining the most at ages 6 and up. I suggest our Friday night rides to children younger than 6 and please bring the entire family! It's only $10 per person for a 20 minute trail ride. We offer this every Friday 4:30 to dark.
