Hand, Hoof and Heart / Riding Instructor in Acworth, Georgia

Hand, Hoof and Heart is a 501c3 nonprofit. Our mission is to support self-growth, promote inclusivity and build a connection within the community through animal-assisted activities designed to improve cognitive, social, emotional, and physical functioning. Our program is open to people of any ages and any ability, but our priority goes to those looking for a therapeutic environment. We do not focus on competition and our program participants have a large part in designing their horsemanship journey. This program is not suitable for any rider that is looking to compete in equine sports. Our instructors have the ability of teaching beginner to advanced riders, however, our focus is on horsemanship as a whole, understanding emotions and behaviors, as well as learning how to navigate through situations with critical thinking, positive reinforcement, and organized decision making.
