Our mission is to support self-growth, promote inclusivity and build a connection within the community through animal-assisted activities designed to improve cognitive, social, emotional, and physical functioning. Our program is open to people of any ages and any ability, but our priority goes to those looking for a therapeutic environment. We do not focus on competition and our program participants have a large part in designing their horsemanship journey. This program is not suitable for any rider that is looking to compete in equine sports. Hi there! I'm a Dressage Rider, Trainer, L Judge and clinician. I am an USDF Bronze & Silver medalist and also an L Program Graduate with Distinction and working on my USEF little r application. I do lots of types of clinics - Ride a Test, Western dressage, Pony Club, etc. I have a pretty unique style in that I work with riders on the ground to get body awareness as I'm also a AFAA certified fitness professional and then work on their position to see how they can influence their horse correctly, kindly and classically without fighting or frustration. Riding is supposed to be FUN! I help riders who want to show find those savvy points they are missing as well as polish the strengths of their horse and maintain the quality of the gaits to present an oh so very lovely picture to the judge. Marcy has over 40 years of experience in the horse world. She started teaching herself to ride on her first horse, Whiskey, at a very young age and by the age of 10 she was showing Saddlebred horses on a national level. Marcy later began teaching students at Double TTK Ranch in Marietta, Georgia. Along with teaching lessons, Marcy also taught horse and pony camps in the summer, led trail rides on the weekends, and was responsible for the daily care and maintenance of over 100 horses. In 2002, she and her husband David decided to purchase their own place and have called Blue Springs Farm home ever since. Her students include many APHA Top 10 riders, the 2002 APHA World Champion in 10 and Under Trail, multiple IEA National Champion teams, and individual IEA National Champions in both horsemanship and reining.

Beautiful facility, open to Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation riders. We compete from GHJA to USEF AA.
Over 35 years' experience in the equestrian industry, 14 years as a professional. I believe that riding should be fun and safe. I was taught by many wonderful trainers like; Berry Lane, Linda Allen, Daniel Geitner, and more. My focus is to ensure the rider has a strong and balanced leg, seat, and upper body. I believe a jump is simply a jump, it's how you ride between the jumps that matter.
I teach based on how each rider learns. I understand that every rider learns at their own pace, and I structure each lesson according to the rider's needs. I will not over face a rider, but I do ask a rider to step out of their comfort zone periodically, in a safe and understanding manor. I ask the riders to challenge themselves, not me forcing them.

I only offer private or semi private lessons. However, in the beginning I want a rider in a private setting so I can understand them and the rider can learn how I teach. Beginner riders are only private lessons, for their safety.
