We are a Full Boarding Facility that loves to care for your horse but we also offer fun filled Lessons for Beginners to Advanced in English and Western Pleasure. We provide lessons for Adults and Children , starting at the age of 10. Children junger then 10 years of age we will be glad to prvide Pony rides.
We have nice a 245'X 145' Riding Arena that has Lights for Evening riding and is equipped with everything from Jumps, Poles, Barrels , Cavalettis and Ground Poles. We also offer a 60' Roundpen.

We offer partial board to full Service Boarding Facility; proudly serving the Fort Polk and Leesville area for the last 11 years. We are located 10 minutes from the South Gate Ft. Polk. Horseback ridding lessons starting at age 5 yrs. old and up include; Basic Lessons: autonomy of a horse, grooming and tacking up your horse un-tacking your horse, cooling down and bathing. Learning the parts of the Western saddle and bridle learning the parts of the horse proper saddle fitting reining and leg cues proper seating and posture while walking, trotting, and cantering your horse. Intermediate Lesson: western pleasure, halter, and showmanship, beginning barrel racing, beginning pole bending. We offer a 50' lighted Round pen where all basic lessons start .We also have nice a 150'X250' lighted Arena and adjoining training area equipped with everything from Jumps, Poles, Barrels, Cavaletti's and Ground Poles. Hidden Stables is a small lesson and boarding barn that offers beginner through advanced English lessons on our horses or yours. We also offer beginner western riding. We welcome children as well as adults for instruction.

deSaix has been riding since the age of 2. She began showing hunters at the age of 9. She has always owned green horses with little or no training.

deSaix holds a bachelor's of arts Equine Studies degree from Virginia Intermont College. She is also an American Riding Instructor Association Certified Level III Hunter Seat Equitation instructor and a member of ARIA, USEF , and founder and director of the Acadiana Hunter Jumper Association. In addition to showing in rated and schooling shows for over 20 years, deSaix was an active member of her college's Intercollegiate Horse Show Association's Hunter Seat team.
