Riding lessons start on the ground first. Horsemanship lesson required first Introductory price of $65.00 hr. I make these lessons FUN! $85.00 for a private hour. I believe you should learn how to communicate effectively before climbing in the saddle. Earning the respect of your horse through groundwork techniques is essential to having clear communication and respect while mounted. My horse's are NOT your typical school horses, they are my personal well trained riding horses. I have miles of trails right out back. $50.00 for 1/2 hour available for children age 5-10 years old. I have been involved in the equine industry for the past 18 years as a horse owner, rider, competitor, manager, coach, and trainer. With riding background encompassing hunters/jumpers, equitation, western/English pleasure, eventing, competitive trail, dressage and driving, I am a well-rounded and open-minded equestrian, always in search of more learning! In 2006, I completed a 6 month apprenticeship with master farrier Dicky Sevigny. Then in 2008, after a year apprenticeship under MA licensed instructor and farrier, Frank Longo, I received my instructors license. I have also worked with noted trainers such as Lainey Johnson, Susan Williams, Nona Bianchi, Gwenyth Santagate, Diane Marshall, and Melissa Tansey.
