Hello, my name is Frankie Dean and I am a travelling horse trainer located in the Bitter Root. I grew up learning and teaching Cowboy Mounted Shooting in North Georgia. With liberty, classic horsmanship, and constant knowledge about the horse world, I guarantee you will see a difference with you AND your horse within the first 30 days of my service. I do not provide horses for lessons nor an arena, I will travel to you or an arena of your choice for lessons.... See More

My business is close to Msla and boasts a beautiful 80x120 indoor arena, a large colorful jump field, reliable lesson horses/ponies and lessons tailored to your riding level/personal goals. If you have your own horse and trailer you can haul to my place or I can meet you at our lovely local equestrian park, The Big Sky Horse Park.
I teach both English and Western to riders of all ages and all levels. My strengths are in the jumping arena. I really enjoy teaching young horses and riders to jump! I also have lots of experience with the basics and am always happy to pass on my knowledge!
If you have a horse you are uncomfortable trial riding I would be excited to help educate you both and build your confidence! I take clients in my lesson program trail riding in small groups(total of 4 riders including myself) so we can trot on the trails! We go for an hour and a half and students are welcome to be much more involved than just riding on the trail. They can help with catching the horses, loading the tack and the horses, grooming, tacking up and unsaddling and of course giving treats!
Horse Kids Camps make for a memorable summer experience so if you have a kiddo from the ages of 7-16 who is interested in learning to ride and care for horses contact me for more camp information!
There is sometimes a horse or pony available for a half lease so if interested contact me and we can see if there is a horse available that fits your riding level and goals!... See More
