Cape Cod Equestrian Center is a full service facility. We offer riding lessons to kids 4 and up. Our facility is equipped with two heated lounges to enjoy while watching the lessons. We also have two outdoor riding rings one designed for the beginner and a larger one for more advanced riders. The indoor arena is set up similarly with a large heated arena as well as a much smaller more private area for newer riders. Cape Cod has been in business for over 25 years in the same location. Many of the United States World Cup Team members have been developed in this barn. There are currently three instructors teaching lessons at Cape Cod. Kathy Boggs has been teaching horseback riding for 40 years and has taught some of the best riders in the country. Erin Richey is another of our instructors she teaches some of the beginners as well as trains horses. She teaches all of the advanced show riders and travels to horse shows with them competing. Rachel Estes is the beginner and intermediate instructor focusing on the basics and fundamentals of riding. Lunar Winds Stables' lesson program is based on training ideals that strengthen bonds and communicate with horses through their mind, voice, emotions, and body language. Through riding, they learn how their seat affects the horse, and learn how to recognize different types of horse behavior and what could be done to make problem behaviors better. Here students learn groundwork as well as disciplines such as; Western pleasure/ horsemanship, contesting, English pleasure/ equitation, Hunt seat, and Jumping. L'Ambaince Farm is an exceptional and beautiful lesson, training and full care boarding facility. We are a family friendly equine facility where everyone is always welcome! We specialize in saddle seat riding to riders of all ages and abilities. (Not sure if your up to riding? We also give driving lessons too!) We cater to riders who just want to have fun all the way to those who aspire to become a champion! Lessons are $35 for a half an hour riding lesson. Lessons are not required to groom and tack up but are encouraged to come 15-20 minutes early to learn how to do so. All the current students love to groom and tack up! We offer group and private lessons. Students and horses are matched up for a safe, fun, and educational lesson. We have an huge enclosed indoor and enclosed outdoor area for year round riding. We also have a small enclosed arena at one end of the barn where the beginner lessons are always started. Beginner lessons are private until the rider feels comfortable and has mastered good control. There is a air-conditioned and heated lounge where everyone can hang out! There is also a viewing room to watch lessons in. We also have "Fun days" where all the students are welcome to come and bring a friend and we learn more about horses. (like breeds, colors, parts of the horse, tack, and general horse care) Heather, the instructor, has been riding and showing American Saddlebreds for over 16 years and has been teaching for the past 10 years. She love's kids (and the kids at heart!) and horses which makes it an enjoyable lesson for kids and adults alike.
