I’ve been teaching horsemanship to beginner-advanced riders, barrel racing and pole bending, English and jumping, and offering trail rides to the public for 20 plus years. I also break and train horses. I offer these services on my horse or yours.

We are a beautiful 25 acre full service facility. We offer Group and Private lessons for any age rider and experience. We have a wonderful riding ring with lights and a full set of jumps. Little D Farms is a family oriented farm focused on natural horsemanship and respect for your equine partner. Luella Stables offers boarding, lessons for the beginner and intermediate rider and trail riding for all ages and requires no prior experience to participate. Lessons are offered Monday through Thursday. We specialize in first time riders and molding each student into all around equestrians. Students experience grooming, saddling, feeding, bathing and more about the overall experience of owning a horse. Students are welcome at the age of 4 and 5 but they are truly capable of gaining the most at ages 6 and up. I suggest our Friday night rides to children younger than 6 and please bring the entire family! It's only $10 per person for a 20 minute trail ride. We offer this every Friday 4:30 to dark. Foundation building for riders of all disciplines (western, huntseat, gaited, etc), using natural horsemanship and classical dressage principles. We focus on:

Especially for beginners and new horse owners, we offer lessons in complete horsemanship – including ground work, fitting of tack, horse health care and management, and more.

Just Us Horsin' Around uses Equine Theraplay which is a form of play whereas horses are used to assist in social development. Our horsemanship instruction includes proper riding techniques, understanding horse behavior, horse safety, horse care, tacking up the horse, feeding, stall maintenance, and much more.

We are geared towards the beginner to intermediate level western rider, and our students learn at their own pace. This ensures that they gain confidence right from the start. Our horse playground is an obstacle course which allows riders who enroll in our riding program to practice techniques required to go out on the trail. Hunter, Jumper, Equitation.

Casey began riding in 1989, when she was 5yo. at Chastain Stables, in Atlanta GA, learning Hunter/Jumpers. In 1990 she start competing in the Hunters. Casey moved to Roswell GA and started riding and competing in local and the 'A's with Linda Allen in Marietta, GA. After She moved down to McDonough, GA she started riding with Barry Lane. She moved back to Roswell in 1999 and started showing in 'AA' Jumpers with Bob Buxton. After moving back to McDonough, Casey went to Merideth Manor International Equestrian School in Waverly, WV where she studied Equine Health and Equine Massage Therapy. After school she rode with Barbara Bancroft until she moved back down to GA. She opened Creekwood Stables and rode with Daniel Geitner.
During operating Creekwood Stables, Casey has produced many Hunters and Jumpers that have won from local - AA shows through out the zone. She has produced many horses that have continued to win in the Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation arenas. Her riders have won in all three arenas from local - AA shows.... See More

Meadow Wood Farm's lesson program welcomes all levels and ages of riders from the beginner to the advanced, whether you have your own pony/horse or ride one of ours. We have a variety of fabulous lesson ponies and horses to suit the many different levels of riders. At Meadow Wood, we feel that having safe, suitable lesson ponies/horses is the key to establishing a good and confident rider.

We teach lessons Monday through Friday and offer 30 minute private lessons, 45 minute semi-private lessons and 1 hour group lessons. We offer our lessons in monthly packages and always strive to customize your lesson schedule to fit in with your busy, daily life. Special times are also available for younger children, home-schoolers, and adults. We offer special lesson packages and prices for boarders. We welcome haul-in students as well.
