Blue Owl Stables is built on the foundation of building confidence in riders and creating a balanced energy connection between horse and rider.

Our approach to riding is unconventional and a bit different from the military riding but our main focus is that the horse and rider are both safe. Constantly creating new ways to help students and horses grow and learn, building the foundation of trust and energy awareness in a positive way that creates memories for life.

Currently based at a private facility located in the Hickory Flat area of southeastern Cherokee County, Georgia, the farm is easily accessible to Canton, Woodstock, Holly Springs, Roswell, Milton, and Alpharetta.

Over 35 years' experience in the equestrian industry, 14 years as a professional. I believe that riding should be fun and safe. I was taught by many wonderful trainers like; Berry Lane, Linda Allen, Daniel Geitner, and more. My focus is to ensure the rider has a strong and balanced leg, seat, and upper body. I believe a jump is simply a jump, it's how you ride between the jumps that matter.
I teach based on how each rider learns. I understand that every rider learns at their own pace, and I structure each lesson according to the rider's needs. I will not over face a rider, but I do ask a rider to step out of their comfort zone periodically, in a safe and understanding manor. I ask the riders to challenge themselves, not me forcing them.

I only offer private or semi private lessons. However, in the beginning I want a rider in a private setting so I can understand them and the rider can learn how I teach. Beginner riders are only private lessons, for their safety.
