We offer lessons for riders interested in Hunter/Jumpers or Western Pleasure and now offering Ranch Horse training. Students are encouraged to go to monthly horse shows with our show team. Horses are available to lesson on or boarding is available so you can lesson on your own horse. Private and semi private lessons are offered to students. We treat both horse and rider with respect and patience. Taking all participants into consideration. We enjoy problem solving and improving the communication between the rider and their equine partner. Leasing and sales are also available. My true passion is with beginners, to bring them into the equine community so they may learn responsibility, respect for animals, promote physical and emotional well being, as well as having lots of fun. We am by no means limited to beginners as we love bringing the more advanced students to shows to show off their talents and learn where to improve upon. Students of all ages accepted. Full and partial boarding options available. Walking distance to Helen Howard and Tingler Park. We attend shows regularly and have barn group trail rides. All disciplines welcome! Our amenities include a covered arena with a sand clay mix footing that is well maintained and has a comfortable observation area, all day or all night turnout, shavings added three times a week, stalls cleaned twice daily, automatic waterers, t&a hay 3 times a day and Nutrena Grain fed twice a day. Anvil Acres is a full service facility. We have instructors in several different disciplines available with well trained lesson horses. We are able to offer a variety of levels of training from beginners looking for a solid foundation, through show ring presentation at advanced levels. We have an all grass jump course, a 20 x 60 meter dressage arena, a large clay arena and we also have an area with western trail obstacles. Our students are offered the choice of attending horse shows on their own horse or on our lesson horses. Professional instruction by experienced riding instructor/trainer. I instruct children and adults and beginners to advanced. I have had riders and horses win on the "A" breed circuit, and have also had riders and horses win at Nationals and Top 10 at the World show for Morgans.

I keep lessons safe and fun and educational. I focus on developing a strong abdominal core for balance and strength. My facility, Arbordale LLC, is beautiful with covered riding and an air-conditioned viewing lounge for parents and friends and is convenient to both I-75 and I-275. I have a wonderful selection of lesson and show horses that I use for instruction.

I instruct riders in saddleseat, hunter seat, western pleasure, and harness. My focus is on the Morgan and Saddlebred breeds. I do take riders to little local shows and they can progress to larger breed shows and even Nationals if the opportunity presents. My pricing is affordable.
