We offer english riding lessons for both children (aged 6 and up) and adults in Harrison, AR. All abilities are welcome! All riding classes are group lessons in 6 week sessions, using our wonderful crew of lesson horses. Each group lesson is 1 hour long, with a portion of each class to include grooming and tacking up. Christy Zweig Niehues operates Always August Farm in Fayetteville, AR. With two decades of eventing experience, she has competed through the USEA Preliminary Level (3'7") and has her Eventing Bronze Medal at the Training Level. She is currently in the process of obtaining her ICP - Novice level certification.

Christy has experience managing large professional equestrian operations, and has worked at large boarding farms in MA and SC. In 2009, she was the horseback riding director for the Girl Scouts of the Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys and was responsible for the care and feed of 23 camp horses and overall management of a lesson and trail riding program.

Christy enjoys working with all breeds of horses, but especially off-the-track-thoroughbreds. Always August Farm has lesson horses available and trailer-in students are always welcome. She enjoys helping adults and children gain confidence, particularly over fences, and coaches riders of all levels; from those who just want to ride for fun to those who are working on climbing the levels of eventing and competing regularly in rated events.... The Head Instructor is Denise Campbell, our ARIA Certified Riding Instructor. We have a fully equipped riding, training, & boarding facility. It is 2 miles past the Pottsville High School. Denise specializes in English & Equitation. I teach most disciplines from Halter to Hunters. I do not teach cattle work or SideSaddle. Pine Ridge Acres is building a Cross Country Course with beginner novice jumps to 3ft jumps. Horse training is available for specific disciplines. Once enough people sign up we will begin a drill team! Dressage and Eventing are taught up to Training level and 3rd Level in these areas only. We have amazing trails on-site and off-site. Denise teaches Western Pleasure, Western Riding, Western Dressage, Gaited Dressage, Dressage, Hunters, Jumpers, In-Hand Classes for English & Western.

Starting Fall 2012 we will be having a second Instructor teaching the Beginners in English and Western disciplines, and all Speed Event rider's.

Denise does discipline training in Dressage, Jumping, Western & English Pleasure, and finishing the "green horse". Prices vary.
