Hunter, Jumper, Equitation.

Casey began riding in 1989, when she was 5yo. at Chastain Stables, in Atlanta GA, learning Hunter/Jumpers. In 1990 she start competing in the Hunters. Casey moved to Roswell GA and started riding and competing in local and the 'A's with Linda Allen in Marietta, GA. After She moved down to McDonough, GA she started riding with Barry Lane. She moved back to Roswell in 1999 and started showing in 'AA' Jumpers with Bob Buxton. After moving back to McDonough, Casey went to Merideth Manor International Equestrian School in Waverly, WV where she studied Equine Health and Equine Massage Therapy. After school she rode with Barbara Bancroft until she moved back down to GA. She opened Creekwood Stables and rode with Daniel Geitner.
During operating Creekwood Stables, Casey has produced many Hunters and Jumpers that have won from local - AA shows through out the zone. She has produced many horses that have continued to win in the Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation arenas. Her riders have won in all three arenas from local - AA shows.... See More

Luella Stables offers boarding, lessons for the beginner and intermediate rider and trail riding for all ages and requires no prior experience to participate. Lessons are offered Monday through Thursday. We specialize in first time riders and molding each student into all around equestrians. Students experience grooming, saddling, feeding, bathing and more about the overall experience of owning a horse. Students are welcome at the age of 4 and 5 but they are truly capable of gaining the most at ages 6 and up. I suggest our Friday night rides to children younger than 6 and please bring the entire family! It's only $10 per person for a 20 minute trail ride. We offer this every Friday 4:30 to dark. Jacel Galloway is a United States Pony Club C-3 Graduate, and level 4 CHA Certified instructor who has ridden and competed through the CCI1* and Preliminary level,with extensive training at the intermediate level for 3 Day Eventing. She has qualified and competed in numerous United States Eventing Association national Championships Beginner Novice through Preliminary. She has competed through 4 Ft. jumpers and competed in United State Pony Club Championships for Show Jumping 3 times.

Her program offers Beginner-Advanced level of training specializing in english riding, dressage, eventing, and hunter/jumpers. Her strong foundation in the horse world allows her to teach her students competent horsemanship as well as skilled technical riding ability. Along with lessons, is the opportunity to show and compete in various shows, circuits, trail rides, clinics, camps and more. Her students have won numerous year end awards in eventing, dressage and hunter jumpers. She works with each student personally to find out what their goals are and work through and design a program of lessons to attain those goals and continue moving forward in the equine industry.

Foundation building for riders of all disciplines (western, huntseat, gaited, etc), using natural horsemanship and classical dressage principles. We focus on:

Just Us Horsin' Around uses Equine Theraplay which is a form of play whereas horses are used to assist in social development. Our horsemanship instruction includes proper riding techniques, understanding horse behavior, horse safety, horse care, tacking up the horse, feeding, stall maintenance, and much more.

We offer private lessons for $40.00 per person/per hour.
Four lessons package: $140.00 per person (when purchased and scheduled within 30 days.
Ten lessons package: $300.00 per person (when purchased and scheduled within 45 days.

We are geared towards the beginner to intermediate level western rider, and our students learn at their own pace. This ensures that they gain confidence right from the start. Our horse playground is an obstacle course which allows riders who enroll in our riding program to practice techniques required to go out on the trail. We simulate walking over logs, crossing creeks, walking over bridges, bending around trees, walking through narrow passages, one rein stop, side passing, and trail etiquette. I teach western riding lessons for ages 4 through adult. I have a 15 year record of safety and success with hundreds of riders both for recreation and competition. I own 17 horses and have my students learn to ride as many of them as possible so that they become excellent riders with many different breeds, sizes, and personalities. Our farm trains for and holds competitive trail riding competitions for those who wish to compete. We have miles of trails and many areas to ride. I teach 5 days a week, but I have a staff of instructors that allow us to teach 7 days a week. One thing that sets us apart from other farms is that we teach the rider the best control and balance by not using stirrups until the rider is at an advanced level. This teaches the rider to grip with his/her body and to become one with the horse when moving through the various gaits. We also teach the rider to use gentle aids that do not require much force and that foster building relationships with the horses. We teach low jumping for western riding as well for those who wish to jump obstacles out on the trail. My staff and I teach with patience and allow riders to learn at their own pace. We make the experience highly instructional in a fun and relaxed manner for the rider.
