You don't need to own a horse to enjoy riding. Nayborhood Pony Farm has been a teaching barn for over 41 years. Our students have successfully learned to ride in a safe, fun environment. Students from age 3 to mature adults are welcome. Lessons are taught in small groups or individuals with weekday semester packages available. Very young children are taught one on one with lessons scheduled late morning and early afternoons with an instructor who specializes in young children. A large variety of excellent schooling horses and both western and English. Riders start with a 'secure seat' method of riding that helps the student develop balance, strength and confidence.
Horse leases are sometimes available and can include horse 4H for youth students. We also have a few select sale horses that are marketed through our barn. Taylor Ranch provides lessons to all levels and attitudes of riders, young or old, competitive or just wanting to learn. Lessons are taught by Isaac Taylor who has over 30 years of experience with Arabian horses. He's also an international judge with a wealth of knowledge. We spend time educating our students on all aspects of the horse, from body parts to breed charastics. Our programs cover everything from proper stall etiquette, tacking up a horse, leading the horse, mounting, dismounting, and last but not least, actually riding.

Our horses are ready and willing to help teach individuals of all ages about the art of riding. Most of our lesson horses are retired show horses that have had a wealth of experience in the show ring and are now enjoying a second career educating and entertaining others.

Introductory month: $80 (3 lessons, 30 min each)
Lessons: $120 per month (3 lessons, 45 minutes each) Private, semi-private

I have been riding for 13 years and training my own horses and competing successfully on them. I have been helping people learn how to better themselves in many events and taught lessons for a year until I returned back to school. I currently compete in many events consisting of reining, cutting, barrels, poles, western pleasure, trail, 4H, and showmanship. I take pride in my riding and have been told by many that I have a lot talent in what I do. I would like to take the oppertunity to teach you or your child how to ride and care for a horse and ultimately get you or your child horse and show ready. Sunspring Ranch offers hunter/jumper english riding instruction and also basic western riding and pleasure on our horses and ponies - or yours. I have been riding horses since I was 3 years old and train horses from breaking out, to green, to broke and troubled horses. i have also been teaching lessons. I have taught private lessons and also taught on the riders own horses.
I have experience teaching 4-H, barrels, reining, cutting, and basic riding from beginner to experienced. I have ridden gaited horses also.
I have had professional barrel racing training by several pro barrel racers. I have interned with a top cutting horse trainer. With my own horse I have competed in 4h and have taught him basic reining skills. He has also learned to be a bridle less horse. I have been working on getting clinics here in vernal area and all visitors welcome.
I just finished my associate's at utah state and took classes from Jason Romney.
