Summer Day Camp that includes hand on horse time with riding, team games, character building, nature walks, games and lots of fun!!

At Amazing Grace Equestrian Summer Camp campers from ages 8 to 13 will experience exciting hands on learning with riding, safe handling of Horses and ponies.

Relief from the summer heat will include supervised water play to cool off isprinklers, and some crafts, games, character building activities under shade trees and movies in the air conditioning.

The last day of camp will consist of a Awards Ceremony!

Camp will start at 8:30 AM until 2:00. NO AFTER CARE is available due to regular riding lessons on the schedule after camp. This camp is intended to be a fun, challenging, and educational experience where campers will learn to reinforce life skills that they can take with them and remember for a lifetime!!

Eden Farm offers lessons and training for equestrians participating in competitive show jumping. Our program focuses on establishing a quality foundation in horsemanship, the basics of classic hunter/jumper riding, and camaraderie. We accommodate all levels, including children and adults from beginner to the experienced rider.

Eden Farm hosts three summer camp sessions. Kids enjoy learning the basics of horsemanship in English riding. This is a week-long camp with emphasis on grooming, proper handling and riding a pony/horse. Additional fun activities include painting the ponies, a water slide and the super popular horse show at the end of the camp. Summer Horseback Riding Day Camp (10 miles SW of Gainesvilleb)

Let’s give your horse-crazy child an amazing week long summer day camp at Canopy Oak Trails. We’re limiting to a maximum of 8 campers/week and wearing masks when indoors, if not vaccinated. (Masks not required when outdoors.) We’re assigning saddles, helmets and bridles to each camper for the week.

Beginner to intermediate riding lessons (English, Western, bareback) in the safety of the round pen & smaller arena. Weeks for more advanced riders can be arranged, if sufficient interest.

Grooming, groundwork, mounting/dismounting, good body position & turning with legs, hips & reins, halt & back up

Close supervision in an enclosed area before riding in larger areas

Shady, wooded trail for practicing manuvers & obstacle challenges

Campers average 3-4 hours a day with their horse, riding twice each day.

High councellor to camper ratio (typically no less than 1 volunteer per 2 campers)

Inroduction to trail riding, jumping, barrel racing, pole bending, relays & equestrian games

An opportunity to learn about what it takes to own a horse

Unmounted learning: Horse safety, breeds & colors, anatomy, hoof care, nutrition, tack (saddles & other equipment)

On Friday, family is invited to attend the "horse show." Campers will present a mounted relay, a horse obstacle course & other demonstrations of the skills that they've learned.

We'll provide horses, helmets, tack, craft supplies, water & snacks. You'll provide bag lunches & your child, eager to learn everything about horses. Let us help make this summer the best ever.

$350 per week. Includes illustrated learning folder, t-shirt, wooden picture frame and horseshoe to paint, plus other crafts projects

Dream Horse Equestrian Center is proud to announce we are once again holding our annual Summer day camp. Come join us for 3 week-long sessions of fun and horseback riding. Camp is offered Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm each day. Dates are subject to change due to the current health crisis.

Our camp is designed for everyone from the beginner who has never been around a horse before to the experienced rider who wants to work on a specific skill such as jumping or dressage.

About Our Camp
Campers will learn basic horsemanship and the importance of safety. Owner/Trainer Javier Gamboa will give riding lessons to match age and experience as well as matching each student with the right horse.

About Us
Welcome to Dream Horses Equestrian Center, Lake County's full-service Hunter/Jumper/Eventing equestrian facility. EWe are located in Eustis on State Road 44. We are minutes away from the new 429 entrance in Mount Dora and conveniently located just about equal distance from I-4 and the 417 for easy access to all of Central Florida. We offer full board, sales, training and lessons.

Dream Horse Equestrian Center is your location for all things Hunter/Jumper/Eventing: from boarding, to beginners' lessons & shows to national level A-circuit Hunter/Jumper training. Owned and operated by Javier Gamboa, Dream Horse Equestrian Center is a top-caliber facility, complete with fully equipped clay jumping ring and separate dressage ring. We also have a beautiful cross country field. High and dry 16 stall barn with 12x12 stalls and 3 concrete wash racks. Barn includes huge tack room with saddle racks, feed/hay room, office with full-size refrigerator, microwave, washing machine and dryer, and CLEAN bathroom. (Yes girls, we understand how important a clean bathroom is!!)

Camp Activities Include
Daily riding lessons (weather permitting)

Boots or closed-toe shoes with a heel (no sandals)
Jeans or breeches
Lunch (snacks and water will be provided)
Riding helmet if you have it or one will be provided during lessons.

The campers will begin their day with feeding, brushing, saddling and riding group lessons : English huntseat style training with individual attention. They will then have the an opportunity to bathe and care for their camp horse (our horse or yours!). After a lunch in the shade and some fun activities, campers will learn a variety of horse management skills including first aid, health care, hoof care, feeding, illness management and prevention. Here at Horse Haven Rescue we have rescued horses that have been saved, regained their health and retrained so that we can and children can enjoy regular riding lessons, horse shows and lots of other fun with them!!! There are also other very well trained horses there available for riding.

Do you have an interest in horses, but not a lot of experience handling or being around them? Or maybe you want to build a closer bond with your horse? Magic Meadows is a small, private horse boarding farm located East of I-75 in beautiful Sarasota. We offer private lessons for adults or kids who are looking for a safe introduction to the wonderful world of horses. Our approach is unique - this is not a typical horse camp - we teach the basics in an in-depth, practical way in order to give you the best foundation for working with horses. Too often, the basics are glossed over or discarded once riding lessons begin, but we believe the basics (communication, intention, grooming, groundwork, etc.) should be a daily practice and is how the bond deepens. If you already have horse experience, this can help refine your everyday skills or achieve results like never before. Most horse camps offer riding lessons - we do not - we focus on the basics from the ground that lead to success in the saddle (and we have referrals for great trainers in the area).

Some of the topics covered include: horse/human psychology, safely grooming and maneuvering horses on the ground, techniques for handling fear, how to teach a horse something new (or change a habit), and how to prepare for horse ownership, etc.

Each 1 hour session builds into the next, with the final goal of building calm confidence in the company of a horse. If there is something specific you want to do (or not do), work on, or experience - we can tailor the session to your needs and desires if possible. Just ask!

We offer summer camps for $250 a week ($200 a week for multiple weeks) from 8-5. We accept students 4 and up from beginner to experienced. We have a great group of SAFE horses. We teach safety, general riding, cutting, team penning, sorting, roping, ranch riding, obstacles, trail riding and much more!
