Leif Aho is an international trainer & competitor as well as a USDF Gold, Silver & Bronze medalist all earned on self trained horses.

Leif is a kind and tactful trainer that understands his horses very well and trains them all as individuals. He does NOT train LDR or rollkur, instead he teaches his horses to reach into the bit, push from behind and to be light and supple in his hand and off his aids.

Leif has brought several horses to the Grand Prix and has earned scores as high as 76.8% with his current FEI mount Classy Sinclair in intermediare-1 freestyle in 2019 and scoring a 76% in the I-2 in 2020, and a 68% in their first Grand Prix weekend in 2021 with FEI 4* judge.

Leif Aho trains with USA Olympic medalist Allison Brock as well as bio-mechanics specialist Mary Wanless.

Leif has trained a variety of breeds including Friesians, Thoroughbreds, Andalusian's, Lusitano's, Arabians and Warmbloods.

Specializing in starting and training young horses or riders thru the levels to Grand Prix, backing young horses, working with "problem" horses, promoting stallions and young dressage horses, and preparing horses for sale. I utilize varied terrain, cavalletti and gymnastic excersises as part of the formation of every horse.

Riding and Dressage have been my main focus my entire life. Horses and Dressage are not just my job, they are my life, my passion. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and levels, helping them to reach their goals, whether the goal is 'simply' achieving harmony between horse and rider at home, or making the Young Rider Team. I also coach the University Of Florida Dressage Team, which is based at our farm. We have FEI schoolmasters available for students to learn on.

I am a FEI Dressage rider, trainer, competitor and USDF bronze & Silver medalist, and am 2 scores away from my USDF gold. I have earned numerous USDF Horse Of The Year, State, Regional and National Championship awards thru the FEI levels, on horses of various breeds, that I trained myself. It is my goal to represent the US in International competition some day.

we like to think of our farm as our own little piece of Paradise. It is our goal to make it a happy, safe, relaxing, beautiful place that both horses & riders will enjoy.

The farm has everything both you & your horse could possibly desire: Big shady pastures, 2 block barns with all the amenities, a round pen, 2 dressage arenas with excellent footing and mirrors, a jump arena, and hacking trails through the woods with scattered inviting cross country jumps.

Conveniently located less than 3 miles from I-75. Close to Ocala, Gainesville & UF.

I cannot express enough how impressed I have been by Maria's talents as a rider, instructor and trainer. I have subsequently placed my horse back in her care for continued training with her and I have been taking lessons from her over the last several months. I can honestly say that I have learned more from her over the last two to three months than I had previously learned from a number of other dressage trainers/instructors in the area. Maria has a wonderful demeanor and calmness with horses while still obtaining the absolute most the horse can possibly give. She is exceptional at bringing out the best in every horse no matter their conformation or temperament . But perhaps most importantly to me is she does it with affectionate , caring treatment of the horse. Her focus always remains on what is best for the individual horse, not just the rider. Brandi comes from a background of training with the top in the world. I hold a BS in Equestrian Teacher/Trainer from Lake Erie College in Ohio. I finished my USDF Bronze Medal and Silver Medal on horses that I have trained. These horses all had various background.
