The Rider’s Edge combines Balimo (Balance in Motion) and Pilates principles to improve rider movement and increase harmony between horse and rider. We also manufacture and sell the Wave chair - a seat trainer for riders.

Leif Aho is an international trainer & competitor as well as a USDF Gold, Silver & Bronze medalist all earned on self trained horses.

Leif is a kind and tactful trainer that understands his horses very well and trains them all as individuals. He does NOT train LDR or rollkur, instead he teaches his horses to reach into the bit, push from behind and to be light and supple in his hand and off his aids.

Leif has brought several horses to the Grand Prix and has earned scores as high as 76.8% with his current FEI mount Classy Sinclair in intermediare-1 freestyle in 2019 and scoring a 76% in the I-2 in 2020, and a 68% in their first Grand Prix weekend in 2021 with FEI 4* judge.

Leif Aho trains with USA Olympic medalist Allison Brock as well as bio-mechanics specialist Mary Wanless.

Leif has trained a variety of breeds including Friesians, Thoroughbreds, Andalusian's, Lusitano's, Arabians and Warmbloods.

Reimagine Horsemanship offers lessons and training throughout the Hudson Valley. We specialize in equine rehabilitation and relationship-based horsemanship. We combine liberty work, classical dressage, ranch work, and natural horsemanship to reset the minds and bodies of troubled horses and provide them with a healthy, versatile education.

We utilize classical schooling principles to strengthen and develop healthy riding horses. We are noncompetitive. We practice dressage for the fitness and therapeutic value that it offers horses when executed correctly over time.

Traning/lesson board is available at our home facility in Poughquag, NY. We offer a holistic environment designed to help horses heal and learn. Along with regularly scheduled sessions, their education is immersed into their lifestyle and daily handling. We collaborate closely with vets, farriers, nutritionists, and physiotherapists to provide horses with whatever they need to establish and maintain their physical, psychological, and emotional well-being.

Horsemanship and liberty lessons/audits are available at our home farm. Our relationship-based horsemanship educational program teaches participants about horse care, herd dynamics, body language, horse whispering, animal communication, biomechanics, and much more. Students can participate in an array of activities with horses including round pen work, academic line work, trick training, obstacle challenges, jumping, trail, and classical dressage both in-hand and under saddle.

We are a full service equine facility offering boarding, training, showing and lessons.
FOM is in White Heath IL! We have taken over Sangamon River Stables. We offer full care board, Dressage, Event and Jumper training and lessons will be offered by Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalist Rachel Hill. Our facility boasts a full size indoor dressage arena, mirrors, heated viewing room, mag flakes, and huge doors for lovely ventilation! There is a Olympic sized outdoor dressage arena, manicured to perfection. We have a huge jump field, roundpen, manicured trails that wind around Sangamon River, 3 heated tack rooms, 24 stalls, private or group turn out ON GRASS or a limestone paddock, 2 wash stalls (inside and out), open airy 12x16 and 12x12 stalls, individual tack cubby, NO DRAMA. We are children friendly and semi dog friendly (dogs need to go through an interview process). We feed hay 3-4 times daily, grain 2-3 times daily, stalls cleaned 1-2 times daily, hold for vet, farrier, and administration of meds. Supplements and blankets given at owners request, we fly spray when needed and we will fetch your horse in if they’re running or seem under the weather.

This is the new home of El Mistico, FEI Andalusian breeding stallion and Debonair I-2 schoolmaster on his way to Grand Prix. We will be offering clinics, camps, and a few fun shows in 2019.

Kelly Carr offers starting, problem solving, and classical dressage training and lessons for horses of all breeds and disciplines. Horses in training with Kelly will not only develop the skill to carry themselves and move properly, but every horse is guaranteed to come home with impeccable ground manners. Major Beale was a reserve rider for the British Equestrian Team for the 1960 & 1964 Olympic Games in Rome and Tokyo and won the Prestigious Burghley 3 Day Event in 1965. In recent years he re-entered the competitive arena in the field of dressage, competing with much success through Grand Prix and has earned his USDF Gold Medal. Major Beale has an extensive clinic circuit, which takes him the length and breadth of the country, as well as abroad.

Kimberly has ridden on 2 Nations Cup teams for team USA (2013 and 2015) with her own Rosmarin and acquired Gold Medals in Wellington, FL as well as a Team Gold medal as the top Horse/rider combination for the Pan American Games in Toronto (2015) for both team days as well. I travel the upstate area teaching dressage lessons and training horses. I am an USDF bronze medalist and have almost completed my silver medal. I completed part 1 of the the USDF L Graduate program and have judged several schooling shows and ride a test clinics locally. Haven Hill Farm boasts a peaceful atmosphere for both horse and rider. We offer centered and balanced riding from beginning to advanced students of all ages. We have a beautifully sited outdoor full size dressage arena with all weather synthetic footing. We also have a lovely WE or Working Equitation course. The WE obstacle course is designed for anyone that would like to teach their horse how to navigate trails, a dressage test, or a jump course and uses classical principles to do so. It is an extremely effective way to build confidence for riders and horses. WE is a very old sport in Europe and quickly gaining popularity in the states. Besides being a challenge to horses and riders, it's just plain fun! Stephanie Blockley - Clarke has been a well respected, successful instructor, trainer, competitor for over 35 years. Receiving her initial foundation in Dressage from Dietrich von Hopffgarten for a number of years, she has always continued her education with teachers of high calibre such as Olympic judge Linda Zang She is currently hosting and participating in clinics at Meadowgate with Jeremy Steinberg and Wolfgang Scherzer. From Training level to FEI levels, Stephanie has school horses able to teach you the feel of the levels to which you aspire. All breeds are welcome for training, from proper groundwork training as yearlings on up. Novices with the desire to investigate their interest in dressage are welcome to come for lessons on their own horse or use a school horse in Meadowgate's kind, no pressure environment. Meadowgate's 60 acre facility is unequaled in it's variety of options of mud free individual turnout pen, paddock, and pasture options, which is something that is increasingly difficult to find these days.

The very tall heritage barn with its great light and air offers extra large stalls, bright wash rack, 5 crosstie tack up stalls, indoor walking area for inclement weather, on-site laundry service.

Trails abound just outside the back gate, there is a bridle trail around the farm as well.

The covered 70ft x 200 ft arena surrounded by covered 15 ft aisleway has an adjacent outdoor 70ft x 200ft arena. Both arenas have sand and rubber footing that is diligently maintained personally by Stephanie to a very high standard. The arenas are available for haul - in usage by prior arrangement - $15/time or $80/ month unlimited.

Horses have individualized feeding and turnout programs. There is a late evening barn check by onsite staff.

My name is Nicole Janssen and my husband and I will move to Livonia from Germany end of 2016. I am experienced in training horses and riders for more than 20 years. In Germany I worked with unbroken horses as well as difficult horses up to Grand Prix horses. We lived for 2,5 years in Florida where I trained horses for Highlife Farms and WB Equestrian. The past three years in Germany I became a FN certified trainer (additional qualification for seat and balance) and groom. I earned my USDF Bronze Medal in 2016.
